Welcome

Moyen means "medium" in French and refers to a fourth size of poodle which was created and is recognized in Europe. You will also hear this size referred to as Klein, which is the German term. Here in the states we consider Moyen poodles to be about 15" - 20" at the shoulder, and about 15-40lbs. 

Poodles have very pleasent temperaments that are fun, highly intelligent, and trainable. Moyen poodles are excellent family dogs, including families with young children. They are small enough to cuddle on your lap and large enough to enjoy outdoor adventures. Each puppy has a unique personality and we evaluate their temperament around 50 days old.  Let us know what personality you are interested in and we’ll try our best to make a match!

You will notice our poodles photographed here are groomed many different ways. When our poodles have long hair, many cannot tell whether they are poodle or doodle! The best part is that they do NOT shed. The longer the hair the more effort to maintain. We typically bathe our poodles once every 2 weeks and take to groomers every 6-8 weeks to maintain a specific look. It’s important to keep hair around eyes trimmed, so they do not get infections.
